Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide comprehensive support to students from kindergarten through 12th grade at a K-8 school located in Theodore, AL. This position is scheduled for the current school year with a contract through May 22, 2026. The role is essential in helping students improve their communication skills within a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional License or Educator Certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work full-time, onsite, supporting a varied caseload
